Dear frustrated, overwhelmed, and discouraged ministry leader,

I'm sure you've been asking yourself...
"Why is my ministry still struggling?"
Maybe you're devoting countless hours every week, but don't feel that God is blessing you with the results you want...

Maybe you're doubting your abilities as a leader and are fed up with trying all the confusing fad "social media growth hacks" that lead to marginal changes at best...

Maybe you have the feeling that social media platforms are purposefully holding back your ministry from getting the recognition it deserves?
Well you are not alone!
In 2017 I was struggling with my purpose and could barely support myself financially after college. I soon moved BACK into my parent's basement, which destroyed what little confidence and self-worth I had left.

I wanted to do more with my life and serve God's Kingdom...

But I didn't feel God was leading me to do passionless work just so I could get a paycheck.

So, I started a Christian YouTube channel called The Current Christian and it seemed like the direction God was leading me in and I was filled with joy just thinking about it!
That joy soon faded... I was spending up to 50 HOURS a week to write, research, film, and edit videos to post online.

Not only that... but I barely got any views. So, I would "covertly" post my videos in various Facebook groups so it wouldn't get removed for self-promotion.

(BTW, most of my videos would get flagged for self-promotion anyway.)
Soon i broke down and Prayed To God saying...
"enough is enough!"
All this fruitless labor was robbing me from being able to spend time with friends, family, or fellowshipping. I missed out on social gatherings, church events, and even going to the movies!

I thought to myself...

"If I knew I was going to work 50 hours a week for free and see no results from my work, I might as well have just spent that time working in Wal-Mart! At least I would have made minimum wage."
I wanted to do what i was passionate about AND pursue my god given calling!
Working a dead-end job was never the goal...

But neither was working on a struggling ministry that had me doubt my abilities as a leader.

After many weeks of prayer and stepping back from my ministry, God revealed to me a new way to approach my work.
and after making this one simple change... my ministry grew like a weed!
I decided to do something that would require me to step outside my comfort zone...

Something that some in the church might call "unholy" or "ungodly."

What did I do?

I created a daily devotional that I knew my audience would love and sold it to them online.

I know I know. Doesn't sound too revolutionary, too groundbreaking, or too "blasphemous" does it?

But as you'll see, the results were jaw dropping!
I stopped uploading...
and started making MORE impact and MORE income!
I was amazed that one little shift in my ministry lead to these kinds of results.

My schedule became more flexible AND I was doing more of what I liked, without needing to put more on my To-Do list.

Now I wasn't the bottle neck in my ministry's growth!
You could literally be one simple choice away from having a thriving ministry!
This small shift helped to reignite my passion to serve. I was feeling more worthy of being a leader, and was able to see how God was trying to grow my ministry...
